International Mission for Children was founded in the summer of 2015 by Reverend John Amankwah and a group of service minded parishioners and friends. Many of our founding members were active with the Knights of Columbus, where Charity is the first and most important of the 4 core principals. As we have grown and evolved, the IMC continues to be managed by people that bring a diverse group of talents, backgrounds, and viewpoints to our foundation; and who freely give of their time and talents toward our goals.

​The organization's first goal is to establish a school on 10 acres of land donated by local chiefs in Father John's homeland of Ghana.
